Long time coming

Okay so it says it's been able 15 weeks since my last post. I've been busy with school, the kids, and a host of other things. I've been trying to find time to get back down to NC. It doesn't look like it's going to happen anytime soon. I miss my friends and family@!
Anyway, so we were riding in the car the other day and I half assed catch part of a conversation that Rob is having with Bishop...this one has made my quote book. All I heard Bishop say was "I get all the girls in the tushies!" Then Rob laughs and says "That's what I like to hear" it didn't help the intial mom shock to wear off any sooner. Come to find out, they were havin a conversation about dodge ball and Rob had asked him if he was any good at it.
Tristan is mobile. Not crawling, per se. More like low crawling or dragging himself around with his arms. So the last two weeks have been interesting chasing him around. He's just starting to get up on his knees and rock. He can also say Da-Da MaMa and hey. No teeth yet, but he's working on them. His laughter is a pure joy to me. I wish that would never end.
So, this quarter is over and I have my grades...unfortunately my 4.0 went out the window with my math class. I passed the math class with a B+ (which shocked the hell out of me) so I guess I shouldn't complain.
And on another note, in the interest of history and science...my friend ochreluna tipped me off about this project. Not sure how many of you know about Lost ColonyDNA project. Basically they have taken this route to prove that they survived, not necessarily where they fled to.

As I was digging around the site, I found that my family fits all the qualifications for candidates and that I am related to two of the surnames of interest. I contacted Fred Willard, the director of the project and am waiting to hear from him.
sterntanzer you should check it out. Your paternal lineage surname is on the list. Not knowing your mother's maiden name, I didn't know what to look for.
And
dante I was curious where your family is from...my husband's mother's maiden name is the same as yours. And it's not a common last name.

Keep us updates about what you find out. How cool would that be?
